Future Climate Change Scenarios

DesignBuilder Climate Analytics includes options to apply future climate change predictions to historic data based on a range of IPCC climate change models and scenarios. The main families of climate change models included are:

 

• CMIP6 - Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP), corresponding to equivalent Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP)

• SRES - IPCC 2001 and 2007

 

The effects of a wide range of climate change scenarios can be applied to Design Year data by selecting appropriate options from the Future projection drop list on the Download tab of the Station dialog.
